Congratulations to Stanford Economist and the co-author of the seventh edition of Principles of Economics, John Taylor, for being awarded the 2012 Hayek Prize for his latest book, First Principles: Five Keys to Restoring America’s Prosperity
'The $50,000 Hayek Prize—one of the most significant book prizes in the country—is awarded by the Manhattan  Institute in New York to honor the book that best reflects economist and Nobel laureate Friedrich Hayek’s vision of economic and individual liberty. Taylor will accept the prize and deliver the Hayek Lecture on May 31 in New York City.'
